Bio-Clean Drain Cleaner: All Natural
Few things can be quite as aggravating as a stopped-up drain, especially since there’s no easy way to figure out why. But when it comes to drain cleaning, things just got a little easier, thanks to Pell Plumbing.
In case you were looking for it, our drain snake service is also available.
While there are many products for plumbing drain cleaning, most are chemical drain openers – not cleaners. A chemical will run along the bottom of the pipe, melting the blockage to allow the water to flow. This is a temporary solution. Although the water is flowing now, it’s likely that built-up waste remains on the sides and top portions of the pipe. In short time, the waste will collapse – or collect other waste – and create another blockage.
Bio-Clean for Clean Drains: The solution?
A true drain cleaner.
A drainer cleaner, such as Bio-Clean, is a safe blend of natural bacteria and enzymes that helps keep drains and plumbing clean. Enzymes act like short order cooks, preparing “food” for bacteria by breaking down large molecules into a size the bacteria can “swallow.”
The bacteria in Bio- Clean are dormant in the jar. When mixed with warm water, they come to life in about 30 minutes. In the meantime, the enzymes are quickly breaking down the waste; they work on contact. When the bacteria revive, they are hungry: each one eats its weight in waste every minute. As a result of eating and growing they start to multiply through cell division. Under favorable conditions – like the mucky interior of your drains and pipes — their number will double every 30 minutes. This action will actually clean the inside of the pipe.
The bacteria and enzymes attack all the organic waste in the pipe, substances like grease, hair, food particles, paper, cotton and sewage. Bio-Clean then changes them into water, carbon dioxide and mineral ash, which run harmlessly out of your waste system. Bio-Clean is safe and does not boil or create heat or fumes like many chemicals. It can be used for kitchens, bathrooms, tubs, showers, laundry drains, garbage disposals, septic tanks, RV and boat holding tanks, sewage ejector pumps, lift stations, and even cat litter boxes.
